Complete kit for Bunker wood-fired oven, light-coloured bricks - Diameter 80 cm
Made from kaolinitic clay with 8 cm thick walls, the Alecook 80 oven stands out from most ovens on the market thanks to its unrivalled refractory qualities. We offer it as a kit, in which you have all the materials to build it yourself, giving you the opportunity to express all your creativity.

Unlike ovens built from iron, concrete or grog, Alecook ovens are made from white refractory clay, a natural and durable material, which maintains a constant temperature for much longer than traditional ovens. With a single load of wood, you can use your oven to cook absolutely everything: bread, pizzas and pastries at peak temperature (350-450°C), and stews, bourguignons and slow-cooked dishes at lower temperatures (200°C).
This kit includes:
✅ The refractory clay oven with 8 cm thick walls, in 2 parts (floor and dome) to be sealed together with refractory mortar
✅ The insulation (ceramic blanket) for the dome and the smoke hood
✅ The metal mesh to hold the insulation in place
✅ The refractory mortar to seal the oven floor and dome and to build the oven mouth
✅ The stainless steel smoke hood to fit and seal
✅ The flue gas regulating damper
✅ The beige 220 x 110 x 30 mm bricks required to build the oven mouth
✅ The thermometer to fit into the masonry
✅ The steel door with heat-resistant glass to fix onto the oven mouth. Dimensions: 480 mm (W) x 340 mm (H).
This kit does not include:
• The concrete slab on which the oven sits
• The finish on the dome (render, bricks, etc.)
• The flue
Use:
1- Feed the fire for about an hour and a half to reach a temperature of between 350 and 450°C (see the advice in our user manual)
2- Once the fire has gone out, the embers and the oven's inertia let you cook your pizzas, bread, roasts and pastries.
3- Once the temperature has dropped, you can take advantage of it for your slow cooking: stews, bourguignons, simmered dishes, etc.
The Bunker 80 model has an inner diameter of 80 cm, which gives a cooking surface of 0.50 m² and lets you cook 3 pizzas of Ø 30 cm at the same time: the ideal size for 10-12 people (the average cooking time of a pizza is 2 minutes).
To get the most out of it, read the user manual, where you will find the procedure for the first heating of the oven and advice on heating and cooking in your oven.
