Silicate refractory grout in 25 kg bucket
Ready-to-use adhesive mortar, designed for assembling dense or insulating firebricks and refractory parts.
Its low iron content is a guarantee for any construction of fireboxes and ovens that must operate in an oxidising or reducing atmosphere requiring resistance to very high temperatures of up to 1430°C.

Silicate refractory grout withstands high temperatures of up to 1430°C. Ready to use and composed mainly of grog and silica, it comes in paste form.
The rise in temperature causes a ceramic set of the product that durably bonds the masonry elements together.
➡️ This grout allows very fine joints of between 0.5 mm and 2.5 mm.
Fields of application:
- Construction and jointing of dense or insulating firebricks.
- Bonding of refractory fibres.
- Protective coating to reduce chemical and mechanical attack on insulating refractory exposed to the flame.
Application:
Theoretical quantity for 1 to 1.5 mm joints: 6 to 8% of the weight of the bricks, i.e. 1 bucket of 25kg for 100 standard bricks laid flat.

Al2 O3: 18/20%
Ti O2: 0.30%
Si O2: 75/77%
Fe2 O3: 0.60%
Na2 O3+K2 O: 3.50%
Ca O+Mg O: 0.30%
Important notes:
- Before use, mix well with a mixer, without overdoing it, to re-homogenise the product.
- After use, clean the edges of the bucket to prevent a crust from forming.
- Product cannot be returned.
Storage:
An unopened bucket keeps for 12 months away from frost.
An opened bucket keeps for 6 months away from frost (5° minimum)), with the lid tightly closed.
Packaging:
The product comes in an airtight 25kg plastic bucket, sold by the unit.
