Product overview:
Composed mainly of coloured clay, mineral fillers and food-grade cellulose additive, this finishing / decorative render has a very fine particle size of 0 to 1.2 mm and has the advantage of being a natural product with a very low environmental impact.
It offers many creative possibilities (colour blends, stencils...)
Fields of application:
Clay render can be applied to all types of substrate (concrete, brick, stone, concrete block, aerated concrete, plasterboard, render, wood, OSB...) provided the preparation advice is followed.
Yield:
The recommended coat thickness is 2 to 4 mm, applied in 1 or 2 passes.
A 25 kg bag yields 15 litres of render, enough to cover an area of 4 m² at 4 mm thickness or 8 m² at 2 mm thickness.
Instructions for use:
The substrate must first be cleaned, dusted off and, depending on the material, dampened.
The yellow powder is mixed with water (approximately 24 to 25% water per 25 kg bag) using a mixer or a cement mixer until the required consistency is obtained.
Apply with a trowel or float, evenly, levelling the surfaces with a filling knife and filling any gaps so as to obtain a smooth, hole-free surface.
As drying varies greatly depending on the absorbency of the substrate, ensure gentle, steady ventilation.
The final colour is only reached after complete drying.
Once prepared, the material can be used for several days.
Packaging:
The product comes in 25 kg paper bags, sold individually or on pallets of 48 bags.
Also sold in 1 tonne bulk bags on request.
Storage:
- Stored on a pallet, away from damp and frost, clay render keeps indefinitely.
- Remove the pallet cover if it is not to be used immediately
