Refractory grout is a product specially designed for applications requiring high heat resistance.
Formulated from grog and raw clay with 42% alumina, this very fine 0-1 mm grain size grout is used for various applications:
✅ Jointing of dense or insulating firebricks.
✅ Making expansion and insulation joints between two structures.
✅ Additive for sprayable castables.
It is sold in 20 kg bags and comes as a dry powder to be mixed with water.
⚠️ The product has a ceramic set, which means that a rise in temperature is needed for the grout to harden and thus ensure the sealing and solidity of the whole.
➡️ This grout allows very fine joints of between 0.5 mm and 4 mm.

- Once dry, and for a good ceramic set of the product, it is advisable to raise the temperature gradually: a small fire on the first day, a bigger one on the second day and a large fire on the third day up to a temperature of at least 700°.
⛔ Never mix with cement.
