Black 300°C silicone in cartridge

Overview:

• Silicone Nero is a heat-resistant acetic-cure silicone sealing paste (which vulcanises at room temperature through the effect of atmospheric moisture).
• It withstands high temperatures of up to 300°C.
• It adheres very well to many substrates: glass, ceramic, steel, aluminium, wood, painted surfaces and some plastics.

Composition:

The product is made of 100% pure silicone.

Packaging:

280 ml cartridge sold individually or in a box of 24.

Fields of application:

• Designed for sealing the flanges of boilers, stoves, chimney flues, thermal equipment ducts and pipework carrying hot fluids.
• Can replace the seals on pumps, motors and machine tools.
• Can be used to bond parts of household appliances.

Instructions for use:

• Surfaces in contact with the product must be dry, clean and dust-free.
• After cleaning the joint to be sealed, it is advisable to mask it by applying adhesive tape to the edges, to obtain an exact profile (remove the tape immediately after application).
• Cut the tip of the cartridge and fit the nozzle after cutting it too , to a diameter equal to the width of the joint. 
• Extrude with a gun, distributing the paste.
• Smooth the seal with a silicone spatula.
• Remove any excess.

Important notes:

• Do not use in the presence of naked flames.
• Do not paint.

Storage:

The product keeps for 12 months, away from moisture, in a well-ventilated place , at a temperature between 2°C and 30°C.
