Calculating the volume of Biafeu needed for your installation:
To determine the number of bags of Biafeu needed for filling, you must first remove the roof outlet fitting and make sure the flue liner is centred in the flue.
IMPORTANT: Biafeu must only be installed with a flexible flue liner.
The volume to be filled (in litres) is the volume of the chimney – the volume of the flue liner
Calculating the volume of the flue block/chimney (in litres):
(Inside width (cm) x inside length (cm) x inside height (cm)) / 1000
Volume of the flue liner (in litres):
3.14 X [Inside diameter of the flue liner ² (in cm) x height of the flue liner (in cm) / 4] / 1000
Then divide the result by 100 (the volume of one bag) to obtain the number of bags of Biafeu needed.
