Refractory slabs and plates, baking slabs

Refractory slabs are mainly used in refractory masonry in contact with flames and fire. They are found in stoves and wood-fired ovens, barbecues, masonry heaters and fireplaces.

All our slabs have a high alumina content, ensuring increased resistance to high temperatures. This allows you to install them in the combustion chamber of your wood stove, or to build or repair an existing oven floor. These slabs must not be bonded to a metal support because of expansion. Refractory mortar is recommended for bedding onto firebrick, stone or concrete.

Made in France or Germany, we use these slabs every day in our work as craftsman stove builders.

We are therefore best placed to advise you on which refractory slabs to choose for your project.

Easily cut with an angle grinder fitted with a masonry disc or with a brick cutter, you can adapt them to your needs.

Take care not to use a diamond disc without constantly adding water while cutting, otherwise you will damage the disc!
