Refractory slab 500 x 200 x 20 mm - WKS
Made mainly of grog, this WKS-grade refractory slab is used to build the firebox of your masonry heater or fireplace: side walls, ceiling, etc. and even the cladding!
Its high density and high alumina content offer several advantages: mechanical and thermal strength, since it withstands temperatures of up to 1200°C.

Excellent mechanical strength and heat storage
This slab can be used to build the inner walls of your firebox and also to build the cladding of your heat-storage stove, wood stove, etc.
Thanks to its high alumina content, the product can be in contact with the flames and thus withstands high temperatures over long periods.

Installation
This WKS-grade slab can be cut with an angle grinder, a table saw or a mitre saw fitted with a disposable stone-cutting disc or a diamond disc for abrasive materials:
- Standard diamond disc
- Premium "Eco-Cut" diamond disc
Warning: a refractory slab must never be glued directly to a metal substrate, as it may crack or break during expansion.
