Properties and applications:
- Suitable for rendering all the rendered surfaces of a tiled stove or of fireplace-type installations
- Rendering of the masonry stove takes place after its first firings, but once the stove has cooled.
- Carefully dust off the masonry or clean it of mortar residue.
- Create the roughest possible key coat, preferably with Universal Super 0-3 mm mortar, applying a 3 to 4 mm coat scraped with a trowel at an angle of about 90°.
- Once the Universal Super has hardened, apply a 3-4 mm thick coat of clay render and press in the jute reinforcement mesh
- Apply the clay render in successive coats (about 3-4 mm thick) until the desired result is obtained.
- The surface can be worked by rubbing with finishing tools (sponge, polystyrene float, etc.), or by pressing the grain with the smooth finishing trowel.
- Many textures / finishes are possible (scraped, smoothed, floated, tight, brushed, etc.)
