Chain-operated flue damper for open fireplaces
Flue damper for chimney flue blocks with control chain. Traditionally used to close the flue of open fireplaces when they are not in use, this damper can also be used to increase the mass of your heater by making use of the chimney, and to keep a warm flue with optimum draught.
It is fitted high up in the smoke hood of the fireplace or in the clay-block flue and can be controlled from below with the small chain.

This damper is supplied with a 1 metre chain and a part to lock the chain: once fitted, the damper stays open, and it is by pulling the chain and locking it with the supplied bracket that the damper closes.
Removable bayonet-fitted flap.
