Suspended support unit for Brunner BKH Panorama inserts

👉 The suspended support unit is a technical accessory specially designed for the three-sided inserts of the Brunner BKH Panorama range ("Green" series).
It allows a so-called "floating" or suspended installation, giving the visual impression that the fireplace is levitating above the floor with no visible support beneath the insert.

Behind the aesthetic effect of a suspended firebox lies a very robust engineered structure that transfers all the mechanical loads:

✅ The base plinth (hidden once clad): although the insert appears to float, the structure actually rests on the structural floor via adjustable feet and a sturdy load-bearing frame positioned at the rear or on the unglazed sides.
✅ The wall fixing: The support bracket is firmly anchored to the load-bearing wall (brick, concrete, etc.) behind the fireplace.
✅ Load management: This system is designed to carry not only the considerable weight of the BKH series insert (generally between 250 kg and over 300 kg depending on the model), but also the weight of the upper cladding of the fireplace (up to 235 kg), thanks to an upper mounting frame fixed to the ceiling with anchor ties.
