Ready-to-use refractory adhesive for sealing and bonding rope seals on oven doors and firebox doors. Made of silicates and mineral components, Thermofix withstands high temperatures of up to 1100°C and gives you immediate adhesion on a wide range of substrates.

Overview:
Thermofix is a beige refractory adhesive resistant to 1100°C, in the form of a thick paste. It is mainly used to glue the glass-fibre rope seals of firebox and oven doors.

Composition:
Thermofix is composed of alkali silicates and mineral elements.
Packaging:
17 ml tube (30 g) sold individually or in a box of 12.
Fields of application:
- Gluing rope seals (glass fibres, ceramic fibre, mineral fibres, etc.)
- Bonding fibrous products to metal parts exposed to high temperatures.
- Gluing together boards, sleeving or other refractory materials.
Important notes:
Continuous, prolonged storage at high temperatures may in some cases impair the product's characteristics.
Instructions for use:
- Carry out a preliminary test on steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminium.
- The substrate to be glued must first be dusted and degreased.
- It is advisable to apply the adhesive to both the glass-fibre rope and the substrate to ensure perfect adhesion.
- The packaging must be closed again after use.
Storage:
Thermofix keeps for a maximum of 12 months, sealed in its original packaging, at a temperature of between 5°C and 30°C and protected from moisture, frost and sun.
