Draught regulating damper - 2 mm stainless steel flue
2 mm stainless steel draught regulating damper, used when connecting the heating appliance to the chimney flue, allowing the draught in the flue to be moderated according to requirements.
It is particularly recommended in environments where there is a risk of condensation.
Available in diameters of 150, 160, 180 and 200 mm.

👉 The draught regulator damper in 2 mm stainless steel manages the draught in the connecting connecting pipe: it is very often positioned just above the stove (for easier handling).
Its 50 mm male/female socket is perfectly smooth and ensures an impeccable finish
⚠️ To operate it, you will need to add a control handle not supplied, to be fixed on the 8 x 8 mm square connection end, and possibly a 8 x 8 mm steel rod if more length is needed.
🔥As a reminder, flue pipes must be installed in the direction of the condensates, i.e. male end downwards.
What are the advantages of 2 mm stainless steel?
✅ Resistance to very high temperatures of up to 1200°C.
✅ Exceptional mechanical strength: does not deform
✅ Substantial 2 mm thickness ensuring robustness and safety over time (lifetime resistance)
✅ Total immunity to acids
✅ Superior thermal inertia: the flue gases stay hot for longer, which improves the natural draught of the heating appliance
✅ Reduces the cooling of the gases, which limits condensation and the formation of creosote.
⚠️ Reminder of the safety distances according to the NF DTU 24.1 standard:
The safety distance to be kept between a single-wall connecting flue pipe and a combustible material (plasterboard, panelling, PVC, OSB, etc.) is 3 times the nominal diameter of the pipe, with a minimum of 37.5 cm.
However, this distance can be reduced to 1.5 times the diameter of the pipe (with a minimum of 20 cm) by using insulation such as calcium silicate boards (fitted with an air gap) or wall protection boards with built-in insulation.
🔥2 mm stainless steel flue pipes are designed to operate in the N1 (40 Pa) sealing conditions up to 600° (T600) but can withstand temperatures of up to 1200° C.
