Description:
Made of interwoven 6/9 µm glass filaments, this soft white rope is compressible and stretchable: it withstands temperatures of up to 550°C.
Applications:
It is useful for insulating the seals of inserts, firebox doors, fireplaces, wood stoves and also cleanout doors, ash doors, etc.
It can also be used to seal the joints of flues or connecting flue pipes.
This kit is essential to prevent smoke and odours, to effectively reduce heat losses and also to limit the blackening of glass panels.
Packaging:
The kit includes a 3 metre length of glass fibre tape and 1 tube of 17 ml refractory adhesive.
